Over the years of patching feet, I have found that kinesiology tape works well for almost any type of foot taping. I use it for pre-taping and taping for blister patching. Rock Tape is one of my favorites. And Theratape.com is where I buy my tape.
They’ve been running a number of sales for the past few weeks. Today’s sale, good through December 23, gives 25% off Rock Tape with promo code 25ROCK. Here’s the direct link the the Rock Tape page.
Theratape.com offers Rock Tape, KT Tape, StrengthTape, Kinesio tape and many others. Many of the tapes come in uncut rolls, precut rolls, and bulk rolls. In addition, they have scissors made for cutting kinesiology tape, skin prep, tape remover, an education center with books about kinesiology taping, and a treatment center where you can view tape applications for different body areas.
I use Rock Tape to tape any part of runner’s feet: balls of the foot, sides of the foot, heels, arches, bottom of the foot and toes. Theratape.com has a Taping Instructions page. Click on “Feet” and you’ll find 24 articles on taping different foot parts. Some of the articles are by certain brands of tape, but the instructions are useable with any brand of kinesiology tape.
If it’s after December 23 and you missed the sale, check Theratape.com to see if another sale in going on. I like Theratape.com and find they company very helpful.
